Recently pupils in 5th and 6th class from our school along with pupils from Lough Gur school attended a retreat in Holycross Abbey in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.
On the day pupils took part in various religious activities, reflections and worked on presentations. They also enjoyed a tour of the grounds and took part in a treasure hunt in the church. The two eldest girls were allowed to ring the oldest bells in Ireland.
It was an enjoyable day.Â
