Massive congratulations to our 6th class boys: Jack Hannon and Josh Quane. Their entries are featured in Issue 2 of the Global Goal Getters magazine. Please click on the link and then click on Issue 2.
Before Easter, each classroom explored the theme of Global Citizenship, as part of Green Schools. The younger rooms learned how different countries help each other by supplying different foods like bananas and chocolate. Our older classes learned about the 17 Global Goals which the United Nations wants to complete by 2030 in order to make the world a happier, safer, and healthier place.
The pupils designed posters based on the 2022 Awards theme of ‘Wellbeing for People and Planet’. Jack and Josh’s entries were chosen for the online magazine!
Well done boys, what a fantastic achievement, we are very proud of you both.
Please click on the link to see Jack and Josh with their posters. Thank you to the pupils for their entries and to the teachers for completing the lessons with their classes.
Also, thank you to everyone who sent in cards for our Save the Bees poster. We were delighted to fill our poster in time to enter the competition. While we were unlucky in the raffle, we still received seeds to create a Bee and Butterfly Garden and we look forward to planting them.
